Jane Logemann is an American artist based in NYC specializing in an abstract aesthetic which features symmetrical patterns and color found in nature as well as the use of letters from foreign languages and calligraphy. She studied at the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, WI. Her work is included in the following collections: Guggenheim Museum, Wadsworth Atheneum; Whitney Museum of American Art; Allen Memorial Museum; Providence Athenaeum; Walker Art Center; Harvard Art Museums; The British Museum; Whitney Museum of American Art; Yale University Art Gallery; The Jewish Museum; MOMA; Morgan Library and Museum Jane Logemann and the artist Ethel Fisher were good friend. The Jane Logemann works in FUAM's collection are from Ethel’s personal collection.
