"Painter and printmaker Leamon Green was born in 1959 in Anniston, AL. He received a degree in studio art from Concord University, Athens, WV, a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and an MFA from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. In 2007 he lived in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, and taught at the University of Dar Es Salaam as a Fulbright scholar in 2007.
