This lithograph was made after a sculpture by Du Seigneur (possibly the ca. 1850 "Virgin and Child" in the cathedral of Saint André in Bordeaux). The sculptor's name appears at the top of the sheet ("J[ean] Du Seigneur"). Beneath the image, the lithographer is identified at lower left ("Gsell Lith[ographe]" and the printer at lower right ("Imp[rimerie] Bertauts, Paris").
