This print was part of the third of five series of posters issued for the 1972 Munich Olympics. It is comprised of a blue rectangle framed in white, is a call back to Albers' Homage to a Square -- an edition of which can also be found in the collection (2019.03.233).

Contemporary
Period and styles of painting, sculpture, graphic arts, and architecture dating from the recent past and present. It differs from modern art in that the term 'Contemporary art' does not carry the implication of a non-traditional style, but instead refers only to the time period in which the work was created.
