This print's series was part of a larger project by Garvarni, entitled "Masques et Visages." This appears at the upper right above the image. The artist is identified beneath the image (Par Gavarni") as well as the publisher (Librairie Nouvelle boul[evard] des Italiens 15" and on the opposite side, "Imp. Lemercier, Paris.")
