This 12-foot steel sculpture depicts two abstract and androgynous figures, their squat torsos poised above disproportionately long legs. Although they are composed of segments of geometrically-shaped steel, they have a remarkably fluid appearance. Viewers enjoy multiple perspectives of Standing Couple, thanks to its location at the intersection of four paths near the Quick Center for the Arts.
