The text beneath the image reads, "Savez-vous; vous, Partagé, dans quelle ville de France les horlogéres sont les plus cagneuses? -Non, Oú çá? -Eh! bien c'est á Pau. -Pourquoi? -On n'a jamais pu le savoir!" This translates to "Do you know; you, Shared, in which town in France are the watchmakers the most daring? -No, where is that? - Hey! Well it's in Pau - Why? -We never could find out!"
