Beneath the image, the original artist is identified at left (Charles Degrouix pinx[it]) and the engraver at right (Leop[old] Flameng sculp[sit]), with the printer at bottom right. Beneath the paintnig's title, the subtitle indicates the original was exhibited at the Salon of Brussels in 1860.
