This print depicts a drunken fight between two men over a woman; the caption below the image, representing their conversation, deliberately makes little sense. It reads "J'veux qui m'batte, moi! C'est mon homme!... si ça lui fait plaisir à c'pauvre chèri!! ///il est libre, j'suis sa moitié..." which translates to "I want who fight, me! That's my man...! if that makes poor darling happy! /// he is free, I am his half..."
